The Credit Bureau of Lewiston-Clarkston (CBLC) has been providing professional debt collection services since 1922. Our many years of experience are a testament to the superior customer service and excellent results provided to our clients.
The CBLC has remained a locally owned and operated company since our founding. We maintain strong ties to our community and to the client businesses we serve. Our owners, managers, and staff are involved in a number of local community, civic and volunteer organizations.
We currently operate a physical office location in Lewiston, Idaho and and are licensed to collect debts throughout the states of both Idaho and Washington. We can also service accounts nationwide through our affiliation with the ACA International. Our primary service area covers a region stretching from Spokane, WA south to Grangeville, ID and Walla Walla, WA east to the Montana border; however, we are not limited to this area.
At the CBLC we are experienced in the collection of just about every type of debt, including: small business, corporate, healthcare & medical, government & municipal, utilities, legal judgments, deficiency accounts, property rentals, NSF checks, telecommunication and much more.
Accounts listed with the CBLC for collection will be given a level of personal service not available from large automated collection agencies. Our collectors work closely with the consumer to obtain payment while being mindful of the individual and the difficult circumstances they may have. This approach results in a high level of recovery for our clients while at the same time preserving our client’s goodwill with the consumer.
